Our Lucas type 45D4 electronic distributor fits Mini 850, 1000, 1100cc Austin 1300 etc Allegro and some 4 cylinder Land Rover, fits all ‘A’ series engines from 1969 to 1981, prior to electronic ignition pack and some B series engines but does not fit DIRECTLY onto an A+ engine.
Developed and tested to replace the troublesome points system with modern magnetic pick-up electronic ignition to give the following benefits:
Red wire connects to the positive connector on the coil, the Black connects to the negative
Performance electronic module available for an electronic coil, however this unit is for use with a standard coil.
